RANDAL ATAMANIUK
President & CEO - Writer/Director/Producer
Randal Atamaniuk began his career in 1993, studying screenwriting with the Alberta based Television and Film Institute for Screenwriters, and later attended Grant MacEwan College where he received a diploma in feature film screenwriting, all while he was still attending high school.
Quickly realizing how difficult it was for a screenwriter to get their material produced, Atamaniuk turned his aspirations to producing and directing. In 1996 he attended the Hollywood Film Institute where he learned the art of independent filmmaking, and graduated with a diploma in feature film producing. Throughout the next few years he studied cinematography and editing, as well as independent film financing at UCLA, through the organization Independent Feature Project/Los Angeles.
In 1997, he co-directed the student film "Lifeline Rising," which gave him the opportunity to make his feature film debut, "Daybreak." Made on a low budget, "Daybreak" an action/thriller comprised all of his talents as an independent filmmaker.
Devoted to timeless storytelling and cutting-edge innovation, Atamaniuk strives towards creating distinctive, marketable, genre-driven feature length entertainment, as he and his company work towards producing a recognizable and memorable film library.
Atamaniuk continues to take active participation in the film community, belonging to a number of organizations including the esteemed American Film Institute and Film Independent.
